This publication is a collaboration between Eiki Mori, taking the portraits of boys in Tokyo in their own rooms, and Komichi Kobayashi, writing the short story.
-
On the back of 16 photo cards which seem in random order, the story of “The Bottom of Summer ” continues. They are not related directly to each other, but are mildly connected in the spatial form of a stack of paper. Readers would make a movie while reading over novelistic time.
-
The large and small 16 cards are enveloped by thin paper, which is printed inside with the novel translated in English, and sealed with a sticker.
